Each metal part of the scaffold works as an audio receiver unit as well as an autonomous, or corresponding sound producing unit. Both sound sources get converted due to the acoustic properties of the material, such as shape etc. So if, for example, on one side of the scaffold an elevator is moved, or the wind blows into the racks, the sound is transmitted and automatically converted on its journey through the joints and racks until it is eventually recorded at the other side.
